The gradually simultaneous <strong>use of PCs, Tablets, Smartphones, TVs <\/strong>leads to what we call \u2018<strong>cross-platform behavior<\/strong>\u2019 that creates new standards in consumer behavior analysis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Almost a 90% of users start an action on one device and continue to another one (<strong>sequential screening)<\/strong> with smartphones being the starting device in most cases. On the other side, the largest part of TV viewers uses another device the same time <strong>(simultaneous screening)<\/strong> leading to the need of an integrated campaign including different media devices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-3548 size-full\" title=\"screen\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozaik.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Picture18.jpg\" alt=\"The new multiscreen world\" width=\"640\" height=\"254\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Therefore, marketers- creating tailor-made experiences in each channel- must consider when defining <strong>digital goals<\/strong> (conversion, call for action, visits etc) not only the device where they were initially displayed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In recent <strong>Google Travel Forum<\/strong>, held in Athens in February 2013, Nigel Huddleston, Industry Head for Google UK, highlighted the needs of this <strong>\u201cNew multi-screen world\u201d<\/strong> stressing out that \u201cthe average number smartphone users look at their phones is 150 times a day\u201c! So, multi-screen world gets <strong>mainstream<\/strong> especially if we take into account that we spend 4.4 hours of our leisure time in front of screens.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">More specifically for travel industry, <strong>Mr Huddleston<\/strong> underlined that more than 20% of European travel queries are made on non-desktop devices, suggesting that going mobile has become a <strong>business imperative<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-3549\" title=\"screen\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozaik.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/shutterstock_40305982.jpg\" alt=\"Shutterstock image\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Now go mobile with Mozaik!
