The initiatives that these Foundations increasingly promote prove that solidarity is a human value, greatly reinforced in these hard times while their help in promoting private and public initiatives is crucial to the market\u2019s dynamism and to the economic process as a whole. Contests such as the Hellenic Entrepreneurship Award<\/a> , the Hellenic Initiative<\/a>, Rethink Athens, the Onassis Foundation<\/a> & the multiple projects of the Bouygues Telecom Foundation<\/a> empower the society as a whole.<\/p>\n

Mozaik\u2019s role in this social support process was to implement its knowledge, knowhow and technical proficiency so as to create a fast, valid, transparent, secure and most of all user-friendly experience in order to facilitate the submission process for the applicants and add the creative touch of each organism\u2019s distinctive image and identity.<\/p>\n

Its second main achievement was to simplify and smoothen up complicated selection procedures for the judges and administrators that were to vote for the best projects submitted. These breakthrough application submission portals were tailor made to the last detail to suit the unique needs of these major Foundations.<\/p>\n

\"Hellenic<\/p>\n

The Hellenic Initiative\u2019s<\/a> Entrepreneurship Award<\/a> administrated by the Libra Group<\/a> was born out of the belief that Greece\u2019s economic malaise should not deter those with an idea worth pursuing and that entrepreneurship is the lifeblood of economic growth – whether within a thriving economy or during a recession. It rewards a maximum of five new business ideas every year with a substantial sum and the dedicated support of a business mentor in the legal, accounting, communication & IT fields.<\/p>\n

Mozaik expertly handled the branding and online implementation of this enterprise: from a genuine yet contemporary Hellenic logotype and a remarkable website to the applications submission portal that manages multiple user requests, file uploading and tests derived from the Award\u2019s regulations. Certified users of the back office can edit user profiles, send bulk emails to user groups, extract useful data and vote for the applicants\u2019 projects.<\/p>\n

\"Rethink<\/p>\n

Rethink Athens is an ambitious architectural project that constitutes the backbone of other interventions to cope with the problems of the downgraded city center and its urbanism. A total of nine projects were awarded financial prizes according to diverse evaluation criteria such as sustainability, functionality, visibility of the proposed public space design, ease of construction and the visionary dimension of the architectural proposal.<\/p>\n

Mozaik having created a robust partnership with the Onassis Foundation<\/a> was selected to create an outstanding online presence to adequately communicate the Rethink Athens project and the applications submission portal for the European Architectural competition<\/a> to efficiently accompany the contestants in registering, obtaining the necessary information and submitting their projects while allowing for the administrators to seamlessly gather and evaluate all the proposals.<\/p>\n

Bouygues<\/a> is a multinational group dealing with infrastructure construction, real estate, mass media and telecommunications. The Bouygues Telecom Foundation aims to support or carry out actions to inform and create links in the areas of solidarity, environment and education by endorsing countless initiatives ranging from photo contests, near extinct species protection, literacy programs to support for the chronically ill. The Appel \u00e0 Projets competition awards financial support to thirty associations each year after a thorough study of their projects. Each year\u2019s winners and the entirety of the supported associations are presented on the Facebook page<\/a> of the Foundation.<\/p>\n

Mozaik had the honor to design and develop all the interactive & enticing Facebook applications as well as the main submission portal allowing for users to sign up, upload the relevant documents and fill the mandatory forms in the most intuitive way in returning visits while administrators have access to the extended features of the back office which allows for commenting, attributing grades and editing the projects, adding judges with voting privileges and extracting complete sets of data in various file types. It also holds a notification center that provides the possibility to send bulk or individual emails to the applicants, a dashboard presenting the latest statistics for the submitted applications and a filtered search engine to speed up and simplify the committee\u2019s work.<\/p>\n
