Marking the first blossoming day of spring<\/strong> and of Great Lent, Ash Monday<\/strong> is a well celebrated national holiday in Greece<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For some it is simply a legitimate reason to escape the daily routine<\/strong>, free their mind<\/strong> of worries and recharge<\/strong> their batteries for what lies ahead.<\/p>\n

Or is it an ingenious excuse to escape to the countryside, shamelessly gobble on food and let our inner child fly free<\/strong> as a bird? But how high can we reach?<\/p>\n

Thousands of kites<\/strong> will fill the open sky<\/strong>, all coming from a different direction, a different house, a different culture binding together under the same sun.<\/p>\n

This Ash Monday let\u2019s make a pact to reach for the sky.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s all write our\u00a0thoughts, ambitions, wishes and dreams<\/strong> on a colourful piece of paper, attach it to our kite and let them fly as far as they can<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n
