{"id":5036,"date":"2015-06-09T13:15:16","date_gmt":"2015-06-09T11:15:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mozaik.com\/blog\/?p=5036"},"modified":"2022-11-21T11:24:40","modified_gmt":"2022-11-21T11:24:40","slug":"offf-barcelona-2015-highlights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mozaik.com\/blog\/offf-barcelona-2015-highlights\/","title":{"rendered":"OFFF Barcelona 2015 Highlights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>OFFF Barcelona<\/strong> celebrated the <strong>15th edition<\/strong> and we were there to witness and bring back all the highlights. 15 years of <strong>design, creativity, innovation<\/strong>, vision, inspiration, new thoughts and insights.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5038\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozaik.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/offf_barcelona_2.jpg\" alt=\"offf barcelona\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This year\u2019s meeting point was the<strong> Disseny Museum of Barcelona<\/strong>, an outstanding <strong>architectural setting dedicated to design, fashion, decorative arts and culture<\/strong>. 2 auditoriums were turned into main stages to host the line up of the most influential artists in the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5039\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozaik.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/offf_barcelona_3.jpg\" alt=\"offf barcelona\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The <strong>3-day journey<\/strong> began with <strong>presentations, conferences, speeches<\/strong>, workshops artistic events and networking activities in an atmosphere loaded with passion for creation. All kinds of <strong>design enthusiasts and rising designers were gathered<\/strong> to watch, hear and also interact with the guest spokesmen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5045\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozaik.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/offf_barcelona_9.jpg\" alt=\"offf barcelona\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Inside the venue, a design market was set where loads of great designers were selling all <strong>kinds of design \u201cmemoirs\u201d<\/strong>. <strong>Sunglasses, cool T-shirts and accessories<\/strong>, design books, skateboards and neon lights, all that, plus a <strong>tattoo pop up station leaving the most artistic mark of creativity.<\/strong> Outside the venue, a number of <strong>vintage trucks and surf vans offered local street food<\/strong> to all attendants. Soon visitors from all over the world, spokesmen and locals were mingled together, drinking <strong>cold beers and discussing what else, design.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5042\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozaik.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/offf_barcelona_6.jpg\" alt=\"offf barcelona\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This year\u2019s <strong>OFFF turned fifteen<\/strong> and that was the theme of all discussions. The festival focused on <strong>embracing new experiences, question new notions and be open to change.<\/strong> 3 days full of new thoughts and ideas, digital trends and technological advancements, redefined aesthetics and <strong>high end design, motion and film<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5040\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozaik.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/offf_barcelona_4.jpg\" alt=\"offf barcelona\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>New projects were announced<\/strong>, trends were set and p<strong>ortfolios were reviewed.<\/strong> Stefan Sagmeister, Mirko Borsche, Anton &amp; Irene, Steven Wilson, Rick Banks, Chuck Anderson, Joshua Davis, Pat Perry, Akqa, Sawdust, GMUNK, and Foreign Policy Design shared their knowledge, perspectives and <strong>explained the creative process from the primary idea to the execution<\/strong> and all the way to the final work. The main insight?<strong> It\u2019s all about perception!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5043\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozaik.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/offf_barcelona_7.jpg\" alt=\"offf barcelona\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5041\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mozaik.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/offf_barcelona_5.jpg\" alt=\"offf barcelona\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>What we want to share after 3 full days of creativity is that it is important to believe, do what you love, question ideas and have fun!
