<\/p>\nThe story of La Maison d\u2019Estournel began back in 1791 when Louis Gaspard inherited the estates of Cos and Pomys at the age of 29, Cos being entirely dedicated to wine and Pomys carrying the essence of a country home. As the years went by, the estate grew in size with new carefully selected parcels of land and new viticulture techniques adopted from India and so did the distribution channels through trading houses in Africa, the Indian Ocean and China. Chateau Cos d\u2019Estrournel was passed down to Michael Reybier who also bought Pomys in 2000 to recreate the architectural ensemble desired by the founder. Today, Michel Reybier has turned Ch\u00e2teau Pomys into a refined country house, evoking the warmth, elegance and grace of a bygone era, under the name La Maison d\u2019Estournel.<\/p>\n
