This prestigious honor is a testament to the creativity and collaboration between Mozaik and the Monument Hotel team.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"vimeo-player\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/909111651?h=1eb066ace5\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Classed as a listed building and a New Monument, designed by the renowned architect Earnst Ziller in 1881, the Monument is a historic building in the heart of Athens that has followed a meticulous renovation to be effectively repurposed as a modern boutique hotel. Many factors were extensively studied and analyzed to maintain the building\u2019s high standards of quality and aesthetics while fusing classical with contemporary touches. The first step was to come up with a concept that would break the hotel stereotype, convey the property\u2019s monumental and historic value while bringing its new vision to life. Being and architectural paradigm echoing the subtle aesthetics of a bygone era along with the purity and elegance of modern minimalism, the Monument has managed to capture the passing of time while taking a deep dive into the mindset of the modern traveler. Serving as a mirror of time and place, of art and culture, human emotions, experiences and desires, the Monument has been defined by reflections. A true gem of a hotel: Reflecting You!<\/p>\n<p>After coming up with the hotel concept, Mozaik took over the artistic direction of the photoshoot that was captured through the lens of acclaimed photographer <a href=\"https:\/\/dpoupalos.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dimitris Poupalos<\/a>.
